Nataly Arias is a professional soccer player for the Colombian national team.  Born in Arlington, VA to a Colombian mother and a Venezuelan father she is currently one of the most capped players for her nation at over 40 international appearances for Colombia, including the 2011 World Cup in Germany and the 2012 Olympics in London.  Not only was she recognized by FIFA as a player to watch for both the 2011 World Cup and the upcoming 2015 World Cup in Canada, she was also the only player for Colombia to play in every minute of the World Cup Qualifiers (Pan American Games) and the London Olympics.  She’s currently preparing for this summer’s World Cup and her country has already qualified for the Summer 2016 Olympics in Rio.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland where she was a four year full scholarship athlete and a two year captain of the women’s soccer program.  When she is not competing she is a full-time Human Resources Manager for an IT staffing firm in Atlanta, GA.  She is fluent in English and Spanish.
