Jorge Ortega has over 25 years of experience working with major multinational companies, NGOs and government institutions, developing and managing strategic communications programs across the Americas.

Previously, he served as president of The Jeffrey Group, an integrated communications agency focused on the U.S. Hispanic market and Latin America. He also served as Managing Director at Burson-Marsteller, one of the world’s largest public relations and public affairs firms.

Jorge has worked with major clients across industry sectors including: Coca-Cola, Dell, Diageo, Kodak, FedEx, Ford Motor Company, Gatorade, Johnson & Johnson, Motorola, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, S.C. Johnson, and Unilever; as well as with non-profit organizations such as the University of Miami, James L. and John S. Knight Foundation, U.S. Air Force Academy Association of Graduates, and the Governments of Mexico and Panama.

Jorge serves on the advisory board of the Florida State University Center for Hispanic Marketing Communications and on the board of directors of the IKF/Wonderfund, a non-profit he co-founded which provides life-saving medical care for children.
