An award-winning communications professional, writer, speaker, photographer and artist from Puerto Rican and Dominican background living in NYC.  Samy is also a lifelong activist for LGBTQ, sexual and reproductive rights.  He focuses on diversity, social justice and human rights. His work has been featured in The New York Times, Vogue, and HuffPost. In 2016, he worked for the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign managing content for Latino community and later at Center for Popular Democracy, where he worked with social justice campaigns including the Puerto Rico aid campaign and Maria Fund. Samy has been featured as FindSpark's Top 25 LGBTQI+ Influencers & Thought Leaders Transforming the Workplace. He holds a Master's degree in International Human Rights from The New School.
