Lance Rios is a Cleveland-born Boricua who has worked his entire career in US Hispanic advertising, both for television and digital landscapes. Having worked at MTV tr3s and VEVO.com, Lance saw the demand for bi-cultural entertainment and felt that the marketplace missed a strong platform that truly leveraged social media targeted towards Hispanics.


In 2009, Lance launched Being Latino as an experiment to put his hypothesis to a test. Being Latino quickly took off and in 2012, Lance quit his day job to pursue his passion project full time. As a result, Being Latino has grown to become one of the largest digital destinations for bi-cultural US Hispanics having more than 6,000,000 followers across the organically grown social media platforms.


Through launching DigiBunch as Being Latino’s production arm and video influencer network, and through the company’s stakes in the Hispanicize Event and Latina Mom Bloggers, Lance has positioned himself with the top players to show brands how social media is the NOW media.
