Millie and the Lords

Directed by: Jennica Carmona

Trailer: (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGBVxNFk960)

Millie and the Lords is a film that was inspired by the struggle of Puerto Rican civil rights activists known as the Young Lords Party. The film combines the past and the present, capturing the ideals and the principles of the YLP and applying them to our generation. My hope is that this film will not only honor the contributions of the Young Lords Party, but that it will also serve as an inspirational and educational tool for today's youth.
